Meet Kristen

Kristen Andrews, MS

For more than 30 years, I have worked at the intersection of health science, behavior change and mind-body practice—helping people find practical ways to feel better, function better and support their health.

I hold a master’s degree in Exercise Science and a bachelor’s degree in Biopsychology with a focus in neuroscience. My career has included health education, integrative health and lifestyle coaching, serving as Director of Wellness within behavioral health settings, and more than two decades teaching mindfulness, yoga and mind-body practices. My background also includes elite-level athletics and Division I coaching. Today, I continue advanced clinical training in Medical Qigong through the International College of Medical Qigong.

But my path to this work is personal as well.

I grew up in a log cabin my parents built between two of New York’s Finger Lakes, where movement, nature and time outdoors were simply part of life. Years later, a period of serious illness left me largely unable to work for more than a year. Qigong became an important part of finding my way forward—and fundamentally changed the direction of my work.

Today, I bring together Western health science, Chinese medicine principles, movement, mindfulness and behavior change to provide individualized, whole-person care.

I especially love working with people who have spent years caring for everyone else, pushing through exhaustion or chronic stress, or simply feeling that something is off. Qigong offers a structured way to slow down, reconnect and support the body’s capacity for regulation, restoration and resilience.

My goal is simple: to help you understand what supports your health—and give you practical tools you can carry into everyday life.
